Time spent but boozy dessert bent? This six-ingredient Kahlua Tiramisu Recipe is so easy to make you can whip it up in just a few minutes and it only needs two hours to set.
And it's not just the dessert to make when you've forgotten it's your turn to supply the sweets. It's also damn delicious thanks to premium smoothness of Kahlua Coffee Liqueur. You simply can't go wrong with this one.
Ingredients
Serves 2
- 1 shot of espresso
- ½ cup water
- 90ml Kahlua Coffee Liqueur
- 100g Forno Bonomi Boudoir Biscuits – Ladyfingers
- 3 whole large pasteurised eggs
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1-2 tbsp cacao powder
Method
- In a medium bowl, add the espresso and Kahlua together.
- Dip the ladyfingers in the coffee-Kahlua mixture until softened and place in your serving dish.
- Add the eggs and sugar to a medium bowl and whisk until thick and fluffy.
- Dollop half of the mixture on top of the ladyfingers and continue to soak the remaining biscuits and layer on top of the egg-sugar mixture.
- Finally, add the remaining egg-sugar mixture on top and spread evenly.
- Dust with cacao powder and set in the fridge for 2 hours.
- Serve and enjoy!
